Featured Procedure:
TPLO Surgery

TPLO is one of the most trusted surgical solutions for dogs with a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament (CCL), one of the most common orthopedic injuries we see. During surgery, the top of the tibia is carefully cut and repositioned to change the mechanics of the knee, then stabilized with a specialized bone plate and screws while healing takes place. Following surgery, pets need strict activity restriction for about eight weeks, and we often recommend physical rehabilitation to support a full, strong recovery. TPLO consistently helps dogs regain a pain-free, stable knee and get back to the activities they love.

Why Local Vets and Pet Owners Choose Summit

Independent, Not Corporate Owned

Summit Veterinary Surgery is proudly independently owned, locally rooted right here in our community. When you choose us, you're supporting a local business and the people who live and work alongside you. Because we're privately owned, our decisions are always guided by one thing: what's best for your pet. You get personalized care and honest recommendations from a team that's invested in this community.

Supporting Your Veterinary Care Team

We partner with primary care clinics to extend the care they already provide. Your primary care veterinarian knows your pet best, and we're here to add advanced surgical expertise when it's needed, offering advanced surgical care without requiring a trip to a large hospital system.

No Risk of Losing Your Regular Veterinarian Relationship

We work as a partner to your primary care veterinarian, not a replacement. Once your pet's surgery and recovery are complete, you go right back to your primary care veterinarian for ongoing care, with no disruption to that relationship.
